เงินกู้ยืมธนาคาร หมายถึง เงินที่ผู้กู้ได้ไปขอกู้เงินจำนวนหนึ่งกับธนาคาร และมีการทำสัญญากำหนดระยะเวลาที่จะชำระหนี้อย่างแน่นอน โดยจะตกลงว่าจะผ่อนชำระเป็นงวดๆหรือจ่ายเต็มจำนวนเลยก็ได้ ซื่งธนาคารจะสามารถคิดดอกเบี้ยได้ตามอัตราที่ตกลงกัน จำนวนเงินที่ให้กู้จะมากมายเท่าใดนั้นจะขึ้นอยู่กับหลักทรัพย์ที่นำมาค้ำประกัน หรือถ้าหากไม่มีหลักทรัพย์ค้ำประกัน ก็จะมีการคิดดอกเบี้ยค่อนข้างสูง เพราะมีความเสี่ยงสูง
