ประกันสังคมค้างจ่าย หมายถึง เงินที่ค้างจ่าย ประกันสังคมที่อยู่ประกอบกิจการรูปแบบบริษัท จะได้นำส่งให้ สำนักงานประกันสังคมทุกๆ เดือน บันทึกบัญชีไว้ ณ วัน สินงวด ของทุกๆ ครั้งที่มีการจ่ายเงินเดือนให้กับพนักงาน โดยกิจการจะออก 5% และ พนักงานออกเองอีก 5%
ตัวอย่างการบันทึกบัญชี ประกันสังคมค้างจ่าย
1.เมื่อกิจการจ่ายเงินเดือนให้กับพนักโดยหักหักไว้ 5% ก่อนนำส่งในเดือนถัดไป 
2.เมื่อถึงวันที่นำเงินประกันสังคมที่ค้างจ่ายไปชำระให้สำนักงานประกันสังคม
